OUR STORY
Pride Roc basketball was founded by Demonte Bynum, Program Director in 2019. Coach Bynum has over 20 years of basketball experience, both in playing and coaching. He attended Clarke College where he was named second-team All-American, Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, ranked 2nd on Clarke’s all-time scoring list, and had career marks in 3 pointers, assists, and free throw percentage. Bynum has coached both boys and girls at various age levels, including his most recent accomplishment as Varsity Head Coach at Christian Heritage High School in New Berlin.
Bynum founded Pride Roc to be a competitive, travel program built off more than just basketball. We teach our kids hard work, commitment, respect, and integrity. It is important that our players are not just good basketball players, but good, strong men too. Coach Bynum not only hopes for it, he demands it from all of his players.
Our organization has close-knit teams and a strong parent base that has become our basketball family. AAU basketball is a big commitment from more than just the player. Parents and families invest a lot too, so it is very important that our families feel connected and understand the dedication that is demanded in order for our program to continue to be successful.
